26/27 of 30: Studies in Self-Timer

Kinda went Bohemian today. And layered my tights...you can change the colour of thinner tights by layering them. I've put these over black to make them darker and red to give them an auburn shade. It's pretty fun :) Plus it's warmer in this climate!!!

Kinda running out of remix ideas...for the first time today. Which is actually pretty darn good considering that I only have 3 outfits left :)

Kinda did a lot of homework preparing for finals...but also had a lot of fun cooking dinner with my lovely Fiance. Drayton had sun-dried tomato alfredo with shells (his favourite pasta), and I had boneless buffalo wings and veggies.

Kinda got chilled to the bone today too...even with double-layered tights!!! I'm envious of you bloggers in warmer climates where you can find people willing to stand outside and take pictures of you. Psh.

I also kinda hit a point of realization that I'm graduating next semester. I'm almost done with my last Fall semester of college EVER!!! Oh my word, it's such a strange thought...and I'm realizing that I'm really going to miss my classes. REALLY going to miss the learning experience and just filling my head with history.

24 of 30: Summer, Where Art Thou?

Today, I woke up with my legs just wanting to feel free. No jeans. No long skirts. No tangle of slip-under-short-skirt-to-prevent-static-cling. So I threw on some shorts and a scarf and hit the road (well, the sidewalk to class).

I liked wearing this outfit. I don't think it's one of my best...but I felt good in it. It felt comfortable and flattering...modern and decidedly vintage. Not to mention I'm a HUGE afficiando of houndstooth!!!

But the highlight of my day was having a piece of cheesecake hand-made by my roommate Caitlin (check out her sister's blogs here and here). They are both darling! Now we just have to get Caitlin into the business...perhaps with a kitchen blog :)

22/23 of 30: Weather Permitting

Well, on a sad note, the pictures today are rather crummy due to inclement weather.

On a positive note, I had an eggnog latte for the first time today and fell in love!!!

On sad note once again, I'm currently watching a classical ballet video and feeling very sad that I'm no longer dancing. It makes me want to throw on my pointe shoes and go back to professional dancing. Ah me. Ah me *tears*

But back to happy things...I spent the day with Jessica today!!! It was lovely, I've just missed her delightful personage so very much. At one point, we were lying on the floor in the hallway pretending to be turtles. Don't ask.

21 of 30: It's That Skirt Again

I am in love with this skirt...I have already worn in three times in the 30 for 30, and I've never regreted a wear :) I admit that this outfit is a SLIGHT cop-out. Almost every time I wear the skirt, I end up putting it with tights/boots/solid shirt/scarf combo. I ought to be infinitely more original!!!

In my defense, I DID want to wear it with a black vest I have...but that's not part of my 30 for 30 :( Any ideas on how I can wear this more "out of the box"??? I think I'm struggling just because it's so long and has some volume to it...

20 of 30: Sage and Thyme

Soooooooo...first of all...it's lovely to be back to regular posting! I have felt to scattered the past couple weeks, what with all this going out of town jazzamatazz. I think my sense of inner calm filtered into this outfit today...these warmer, muted colours just made me feel so comfy and happy!

These heels are the comfiest things ever...best $9.99 I ever spent! I forget I'm wearing heels when I have them on. Only problem is, my adoration of said heels is beginning to show...Alas, the stitching and trim around the edges of the shoes is falling off. What will I do?

Today I learned a lot about the philosophical belief of foundationalism in my philosophy class. We went over the ontological, teleological, cosmological, and other arguments for the existence of a God/supreme being. While I understand the rejection of certain gods, I just don't see how people can reject the concept of a god altogether. The evidence just seems so conclusive.

But then again, I'm constantly shocked by what people do and don't do :) And that's on a scale all the way from the kinds of food they like to what they think of "life questions." Perhaps I should stop thinking so much!!!

18/19 of 30: Done with Fun

I've had enough fun for the week. Call me a geek, but I'm excited to get back to homework and school routine. I actually, SECRETLY (sshhhhhh) thrive on academics. My roommates consider that one of my lesser qualities, but the fiance thinks it's just "hot" (his words not mine).

Anywho...I did have lots of fun over break...hanging out with my cousins, watching "I Love Lucy" reruns *heart*, making WICKED GOOD GRAVY (I'm pro), and playing Scrabble while eating Chipotle (yummy for the tummy and the brain).

What did YOU do for Thanksgiving? Bake/cook anything spectacular?
