9,10, 11, 12 of 30: No Internet in A-town

Sooooooo...I'm aghast at missing the past four days of blogging *blushes* But gracious heavens, who would've thought that the Hilton in downtown Atlanta wouldn't have internet access??? What a jip. What hooey. What a downright ridiculous load of baloney.

But they didn't...and so here are four outfits, a quick remix selection! I'll post my outfits from Saturday (today) and Sunday (tomorrow) tomorrow. Thanks for being patient...

As far as these are concerned...I layered my burgundy and floral dresses just to throw in some variety, but I'm not really sure that I'm pleased. What do y'all think???

8 of 30: Guns and Roses

Today has been crazy...but very wonderful. I actually got my senior thesis paper graded before I left school today, and got 98%!!! I am just on cloud nine...isn't it wonderful when you pour your heart and soul into something and get the result you wanted? Those times are few and far between and meant to be savoured :)

In other news, I'm prepping for my "Hotlanta" trip tomorrow...leaving early in the morning, so peace out until I descend from those blue skies :)

6 of 30: Persian Carpets

I know, I know--I didn't post my 6th outfit on the 6th day. BUT HERE IT IS! Truly!!! I just didn't get around to taking pics yesterday, so I'm posting two outfits today...the one I wore to church and the one I'm wearing to study/shop with my fiance and Jess :)

Pretty much my favourite skirt of all time...I just love the rich, warm, deep reds and blacks and browns. Plus, the fiance thinks it makes me look very exotic and mysterious.

Did I mention it's a Coldwater Creek size 14 skirt I bought at Goodwill for $1.49???!!!! Good ol' DIY and thrifting :)

5 of 30: Brace Face

Well, it's not exactly my face that has the brace...more my left wrist/arm. So attractive, n'est-ce pas? I have acute tendinitis in my elbow (think glorified tennis elbow for someone who doesn't play tennis). And I have the beginnings of carpal tunnel in my wrist--and today I decided to just leave the braces on in my photos...might as well see what I really did wear today!!!



What is the worst injury you have ever had? Do you still feel the repercussions?

4 of 30: Well, I'll Be Dashed...and Striped

Today was quite the day! One of those one where you dash about frantically from the time you wake up until you crash in bed at night. I've dashed from class to work to meetings to homework, threw in a frozen dinner, and now I'm taking a couple minutes to post a quick one. But as you can see from the pics, I was not only "dashed" today--I also opted for being "striped" :)

But both the dashing and the striping today were all done in the most delightful of weather...I can't believe it's almost 70 in November!!! I can't decide if I'm excited to be without a coat...or sad because it's too warm to snow...
